Hello again to all our friends and family. Sorry there was no newsletter last month but we had a few days in Bali enjoying the sun and I was just too busy over there!! And then a small hospital procedure that has kept me off the computer.

A huge thank you to Steve and Aida who filled in for Wayne and myself at the markets and also the Junior Soccer Club had the sausage sizzle happening.

Well, we have been up and running for 2 years next week so our birthday special will be 10% off everything from Monday 1 August to Sunday 14 August, good chance to get some exceptional meat very cheap!!!

Hamsy had a great day as Sponsor of the Busselton Golf Club’s Scroungers day the other week with the trophy being a fantastic meat pack from 5 STAR MOBILE MEATS. One of our favourite customers, Kevin Trott, won the day and no-one was more surprised than Kevin.

In his acceptance speech he was quite emotional, and after thanking Wayne for the trophy, he broke down. Through his blubbering and sniffing he was heard to say that he was overcome, as this was the first thing he’d won since getting a ribbon for third place in the Under 9’s egg and spoon race representing green faction back in 1961.

Well done Silver Fox. Word has it that he hasn’t put his meat pack in the fridge yet, as it is still sitting on his mantelpiece alongside all of Sue’s netball trophies.

This week we have a yummy recipe to share thanks to Anita Delmenico. Anita has fed Sportspersons for years now, her hubby Wayne, who is a premiership player for the legendary South Fremantle recommends this, he just loves his meat and starts the day off with a good thick spread of Meat Jam on his toast! (go the mighty Bulldogs!!!!)

Satan in the church

A few minutes before the church services started, the congregation was sitting in their pews and talking. Suddenly, Satan appeared at the front of the church. Everyone started screaming and running for the front entrance, trampling each other in a frantic effort to get away from evil incarnate. Soon the church was empty except for one elderly gentleman who sat calmly in his pew without moving, seemingly oblivious to the fact that God's ultimate enemy was in his presence.
So Satan walked up to the man and said, 'Do you know who I am?'
The man replied, 'Yep, sure do.'
'Aren't you afraid of me?' Satan asked.
'Nope, sure ain't.' said the man.
'Don't you realize I can kill you with one word?' asked Satan.
'Don't doubt it for a minute,' returned the old man, in an even tone.
'Did you know that I can cause you profound, horrifying AGONY for all eternity?' persisted Satan..
'Yep,' was the calm reply.
And you're still not afraid?' asked Satan.
'Nope,' said the old man.
More than a little perturbed, Satan asked, 'Why aren't you afraid of me?'

The man calmly replied, 'Been married to your sister for 48 years.
