Dad's Rissoles

Our first recipe comes from Jeff Trott, and is a firm favourite with his 3 gorgeous daughters. These amazing beef mince rissoles are both healthy, hearty and tasty for all the family. Our lean beef mince is perfect for rissoles, meatballs and burgers.

rissolesIngredients.

  • 1 kg of Lean Mince [purchased from 5 Star Mobile Meats]
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Grated Carrot
  • 1 Grated Potato
  • 1 Table spoon of Worcestshire Sauce
  • 1 Table spoon of Tomato sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon mustard.
  • 1 Packet of Continental Chicken Noodle soup mix.
  • 2 Eggs.
  • Gravox for the perfect gravy.

Mix all the ingredients together, and ball into preferred size. If possible refrigerate for a couple of hours. Cook in the frypan, then remove from heat and stand aside. Mix Gravox and water and pour into the frypan along with the leftover juices and bring to the boil. Simmer the gravy for few minutes, then pour over rissoles. Serve with Cheesy potato mash and greens.
